Sales Letter Writing Workshops

Sales Letter Writing Workshops

I’m considering doing Sales Letter Writing Workshops throughout Australia… and I need your help.

Let me explain…

The Workshops will be one day gigs, affordable, limited to just 25 people, and the day will be spent solely on Sales Letter Writing.

I’ve put together a great blueprint on this called: “From Pre-Head to Post Script (And Everything in Between)”.

Anyway, I want to know if you’d be interested in this.

I’ll be running these gigs myself, through my own business, so I have no desire to promote this heavily. I’ll be keeping it low key, maybe just a mention on this blog.

If this kind of hands-on workshop interests you, please leave a comment. If there is enough interest, I’ll go ahead and do them. If not, I’ve got plenty on my plate as it is.

So leave a comment if this is something you’d like to attend.

And just think, even if I didn’t teach you a damn thing on copy; after spending a full day in shutdown with me… well frankly, upon leaving the room you won’t be the same person who entered. That’s my guarantee 🙂

Hi Pete,
I live in Toronto, Canada and I can’t get to Australia for the sales letter writing event because of family responsibilities. Would you consider recording it on DVD?

Michelle June 24, 2009 at 1:06 pm

Hello Pete,
Would love to attend a one day event although not sure if you will make it all the way to Perth!
I am a BBI consultant and a Mortgage Broker. Nothing in BBI shows me how to write copy and this is what I am struggling with to sell myself to my mortgage market. I initially got into business coaching to help my broking business but having trouble with compliance. You can’t make Peter Sun’s sexy claims when dealing any thing with finance! I think you know what I mean.

Hope to see you here in Perth.

“From Pre-Head to Post Script (And Everything in Between)” – sounds like a great day of intensive learning. Teach me all that you are willing to share……

Don Giles June 24, 2009 at 1:31 pm

Pete, how you doing, of course i would be intrested in doing a workshop with you, but as you know, i am a lazy bugger,,,,,,,,,, would prefer to have you doing what you do best, and me do what i do best, and let you bring in the customers, and i will service them……….. well, i can hope
see you soon, Donny

Lindy Bonnett June 24, 2009 at 1:43 pm

Hey there Pete
Yes, this is something I’d love to attend. And you’re right – a day in a room with you is always an experience!!

Mersi June 24, 2009 at 1:44 pm

Hi Pete,

I think your approach to this copywriting workshop is a wonderful idea and every one with half a brain would and should be interested.
Especially because it will be done in small groups, which will allow all participants to ‘have a voice’ and pick your brains.
Realistically, you are spending your time to teach people the secrets of successful copywriting and that needs to be appreciated, embraced and (ab)used 🙂

Great stuff!

P.S. Love the blueprint.

William June 24, 2009 at 2:20 pm

Will crawl over broken glass to get there. Love your copy, style and would love to learn more in Melbourne for day.

Rachel June 24, 2009 at 2:22 pm

More Profit with Less Effort

Chen June 24, 2009 at 11:17 pm

Hey Pete,

Mate, I hope people support you in this because if you do run them, I have several business owners that are desperate for copywriters, article writers, travel writers, and other forms of commercial writing.
May consider offering a scholarship prize to your best student especially if they can beat our control salesletters.
Good luck and let me know.

Dale Lynn June 24, 2009 at 11:26 pm

This is all well and good for those who live near you, or who can hop a jet to get to you, but will this be offered electronically for those of us who cannot attend in person?

Dallas Kelso June 25, 2009 at 8:24 am

G’Day Peter,

Who wouldn’t want to spend an action packed with you revealing the little know secrets that uncover the emotionally charged reasons why customers buy, when the go into a hypnotized like state, and beg to hand over their money, especially the part where you swear under oath that you are not doing anything illegal to make the customers part with their money…

Look forward to it Pete.

Cheers – Dallas

Bill Dimitrovski June 25, 2009 at 11:50 am

Hi Pete.

Yeah great idea! Just go and show the whole world how easy it is to actually write a sales letter, once you know the steps, and then laugh at us full time copywriters sitting in the corner red-faced after our dirty little secret is exposed.

Keep the mystique alive Pete, keep the mystique alive.

Just joking mate. Looking forward to your Melbourne workshop.

I know this is an unsolicited testimonial, but I just wanted to chime in about how I’m absolutely sure this event will be rewarding.

Knowing how much value Pete pours into his events … how it’s like we’ve carved open Pete’s brain and get all the good bits and wizard-level insights and secrets … you’d be crazy if you weren’t clamouring to sign up for this.

One single client project paid for Pete’s Masterclass, let alone now being booked up six or more weeks in advance … I’ve gotta say that when you get to know and use what Pete shares, all you’ll be asking is “what freakin’ recession?”. And it ain’t rocket science … Pete knows how to impart his wizardry onto anyone, be you an entrepreneur, business owner, copywriter or marketer. It’s no surprise to me that I’ve been to Pete’s Bootcamp, and then two Masterclasses — and the only reason I missed the second Masterclass is because I was in hospital and just couldn’t get there in time. Every event delivers at least 10-times more value than expected.

A workshop day with Pete … simply priceless!

Judd Leverton June 26, 2009 at 8:35 pm

Military permitting I’d be interested in integrating more of your teachings Pete. A focused workshop digging deep on a core skill like this is more valuable than a multi-speaker, multi-day event that just skims the surface of a lot of strategies and tactics.

p.s. plus another chance to get you ‘thinking’ Pete.

David Nilsson June 26, 2009 at 9:13 pm

Wow that’s sounds like a great idea. I am based in Sydney, it would be great if you hold one of those days down here.

Maree Harris June 27, 2009 at 9:05 pm

Pete, I’ve heard so much about your work and have just joined your blog. I would be interested in a one day workshop in Melbourne.

Maree Harris June 27, 2009 at 9:12 pm

Pete, me again. Are you thinking that these workshops would be during the week or at a week-end?

Wayne Mandic July 14, 2009 at 12:28 am

Hi Pete
Count me in. Just make sure you come to Perth

Pete Godfrey July 14, 2009 at 6:58 am

Hi Wayne, yes, I’ll be in Perth on Saturday 15th August. Please make sure you book your ticket as this will be a small get-together…

Melanie March 12, 2012 at 12:26 pm

Hi Pete, I really understand the importance of being able to connect with people in a way that they can relate to. I really love your energy and the way you write. And I would love the opportunity to learn from you. I work in graphic design but i think it’s vital for me to be able to know good copy when I see it, and also use it to promote myself.

Charlotte August 14, 2013 at 9:24 pm

Hi Pete,

Another vote for Perth. I live in Bunbury but would travel to Perth…
I realise this is an old blog and you may already have run something? but I expect you have a list stashed away somewhere and here’s another name for the WA category…

Charlotte August 14, 2013 at 9:25 pm

Ha Ha!

not only were previous posts from March and June… but I have just noticed they were from 2009! talk about slow off the mark… still interested though 🙂

Pete Godfrey August 15, 2013 at 5:33 am

Hey Charlotte, thanks for your interest … and you’re right, the workshop took place and I had a lot of fun. The good news is, the last workshop was filmed and recorded. You can get the take home pack here:

Cheers, Pete
