Sales Letter Writing Workshops Gets The Green Light

Hey thanks for all the feedback and kind words and wishes about my Sales Letter Writing Workshops. Because of the demand, I’m gonna roll my sleeves up, hit the road and go the extra miles to teach this most valuable skill.

Yep, the Workshops got the green light. I’m off and racing around Australia, revved up and finely tuned to give you a complete Sales Letter Writing education, backed up with proven templates, proven examples, and my proven ten-year track record on writing letters that sell.

I’m going everywhere too (in Australia anyway). Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and the Gold Coast. You can read all about it here…

Anyway, just got back from Sydney after training Taki Moore’s business coaches. Quick trip in, quick trip out. Got there Thursday evening, caught up with some Mackay mates that night at Darling Harbour (dinner, drinks, drinks, some laughs), then spoke Friday morning and flew home that afternoon.

When I got back and saw all the comments here, when I read all the emails urging me to do the Workshops, I knew I better hurry up, organise some dates, and write a letter explaining it all.

The letter is brief. I’m not going to try selling these Workshops like some late night infomercial pitchman. I just wrote down the facts, what you’re gonna get, and what the day’s all about. You’ll know instantly if this is something you want or not.

So the letter is here…

In a couple of days, back to a normal post.

For now, I’m outta here… multiple deadlines for Crocodile Marketing are clamouring for my attention. I’ve got to kiss goodbye any thoughts of fishing, the beach and salt air. Banish these thoughts and get focused and park my butt in this chair and get busy. I’ll be back in a day or two.

(But I’m not complaining. While this is “work” and clear critical hard thinking is required, it ain’t real work… ain’t shovelling ballast rock under railway sleepers in the Queensland outback in forty degree heat. Now that’s work. Energy-sapping, mind-numbing, muscle-depleting work. I get tired just thinking about it. So while writing promotions that make money requires discipline to get the work done, in my opinion, isn’t work at all… and I never forget what I once did for a living all those years ago; and how damn blessed I am that I escaped.)

P.S. NOTE New Zealand Readers: Thanks to all of my Kiwi friends who contacted me about coming over the pond and seeing them. At this stage I haven’t got anything planned but this could change. Because going over to NZ for a week or so and doing some gigs really appeals to me. It’s something I’ve often considered but never done. I know my family would enjoy it. Anyway, I’ll keep you posted… and once again, thanks for your support.

P.P.S. For those who can not get to the events, I will be recording one of the Workshops and making it available from this blog. However, if you can get to one of the Workshops, even better.  🙂

Hey Pete

Great News mate – I can still remember my first ever copywriting event that you ran…
After pouring all of my money into a new business venture (and some) at the time – i couldn’t even rub to pennies together! I was pretty much up against the wall and had used the last of lot of money i could get my hands on just to come along! I’m not kidding!

As it turned out – It was the greatest financial investment i have ever made! You passed on the “midas touch” skills that will last a life time – and i know that this event will have the same effect for anyone gutsy enough to attend!

Learning how to write a “Godfrey Style” sales letter is the best immunization to any recession bug going around BAR NONE!

Cheers mate – Bret

Count me in! Am excited to yet again spend a day with Pete … he’s like one of those money genies, only that he’s fair dinkum, full of “take it to the bank” systems, insights and wise wizard words. Stuff you can use immediately.

Like I said the other day, when you know Pete’s stuff, there ain’t no chance of experiencing a recession… quite the opposite. You’d have to be sitting in the room without a heart beat not to get some incredible value from the day.

Whatever type of business writing you do (for yourself or clients), I know from my own experience that you’ll get back your investment in Pete in less than one single project.

Think I’m raving? I’ve gotta say I don’t do it lightly… and I only say it because I know — and am living proof — that this stuff really works.

I hope to see you there!

Pete I can’t wait…. I’ll be there mate for sure, and I can’t believe you are coming to Adelaide to share your tricks and secrets to getting maximum money out of any business. It’s also good news to see you hit the road again its been too long since you have done it and I know you love teaching copywriting and sales strategy.

I’m looking forward to the heart start you feel from spending a day with Pete… I can remember back two years ago when I first went to one of your marketing and copywriting events and what it did for our business. We were at a place in our business that felt a little stale and old as you do from doing the same things over and over and it wasn’t until we did your copywriting course that everything changed…

The results have just been getting better and better every month that goes by… and literally it was like a shock to the heart to get the blood pumping around again that I felt when I left your event armed with the blueprints and strategies to get our business to where it is today…

Like i said earlier I cant wait to see you Pete and you can count us in for sure. See you in Adelaide buddy.

If you are in business you are crazy not to be at this event…

Hi Pete

Count me in for the Melbourne event. Everyone time I spend a day with you my income goes up. Must be something in that! Can’t wait to get my hands on the Swipe File as well.

I’ve got all your stuff but haven’t seen that one yet. What gives mate? Everyone that knows me has heard the story about how I built a copywriting career swiping just that “ONE” letter you gave me. And now I’ll be getting my greedy little hands on a whole bunch. Hey is there any way I can quickly get my hands on it, or will I have to wait for the event?

Hi Pete – Thanks for the inspiration for me to start blogging – your’re right, it is great fun…but even better to be following two great coaches – yourself and David Glendinning – keep pumping it out guys – I’m right behind you. Following the masters. Looking forward to your workshop in Perth – I will certainly be letting everyone on my list know about – such an amazing opportunity to learn from the best of the best. See you in Perth – cheers, Pauline
